Roles and Responsibilities:Analyze requirements, design, develop and deliver high quality Software using the latest technologies and innovations in a timely manner.Understand customer requirements and translate them into engineering requirements. Review and sign off on requirements documents.Write functional and design specification documents and drive sign- off.Interface with developers, QA, Documentation & Customer Support teams as needed.Architect, design, develop, test, or troubleshoot features or functions.Interact cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines.Participate in full product life cycle development.Interface with Support/ Customers during escalations and drive issues to completionThe ideal candidate should have BS/ MS in Engineering CS, EE or related field and 18 - 25 years hands- on experience in Software and Networking area, working in one or more of the following:Good experience of networking operating systems in aspects of hardware packet forwarding, control plane software protocols, device manageability and customer deployment scenarios.Good working knowledge of Linux networking subsystem and exposure to other aspects such as kernel modules, file systems, multithreading, tracing, debugging etc.Experience with VM based network systems, implementing VNFs, VM orchestration and monitoring, container orchestration, microservices, SDN and NFV technologies.Exposure to areas such as network data collection and analysis, REST API, distributed databases and machine learning is preferred.Familiarity with infrastructure capabilities such as ISSU, High Availability. stacking etc. is preferred.Knowledge of campus networking features of routers such as Layer- 3 routing protocols, VxLAN, security applications, zero touch provisioning, ACL, flow monitoring, multi chassis LAG, Multicast, PoE, network tools such as DNS/ DHCP is required.Excellent C coding and debugging skills are required. Knowledge of Python is preferred. Development experience in other programming languages such as Go is a bonus.Experience working in a CI/ CD development environment.,
