The Amazon Digital Content & Commerce Services team own critical highly scalable services that form the backbone of the shopping experience for all our digital businesses. We are looking for an innovative, results-oriented Senior Technical Program Manager to drive key programs in metadata management space. In this position you will provide both strategic and tactical oversight to drive the platforms and features required to build a best in class offering for our digital customers.If you are comfortable digging into business requirements, drilling into design, architecture, and test plans with development and QA teams, and communicating with stakeholders at all levels, and if you have a passion for bringing the best shopping experience to our digital customers, then this is the position for you.This role requires working closely with product management, and involves regular communication with senior management, and will be inherently cross-functional. Excellent listening skills, writing skills, and very strong drive to deliver results are essential. Must be a relationship-builder, decisive, and comfortable using data to influence and get the job done.Key Responsibilities: Help define strategy and roadmap for the pricing and promotions experience for all our digital businesses Document and present strategies to senior management Manage execution against project plans and delivery commitments Work closely with product managers, partners teams and engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach, Minimum 10 years of software development life cycle management experience working in a cross-functional environment with an ability to influence other teams to meet goals Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audience Bachelors Degree requiredEqually important to these specific skills are a candidates ability to: Multi-task Quickly adapt to new development environments and changing business requirements Learn new systems The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally is a key competency as is demonstrable skill as a self-starter B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.E/M.Tech/Ph.D degree in computer science or related fields
