Job Description

Description

  • Review product requirements, functional specifications, standards document (RFCs and specs).
  • Create test plans for new products and features internally or drive ODC to do the same, including incremental features based on customer requirements or industry requirements
  • Put in place integrated/well defined process to monitor the performance and quality of test deliverables from the ODC teams
  • Will require short business travel to ODC within India AND/OR travel to customer or Technicolor sites aboard
  • Ensure on time/quality deliverable from the ODC teams including standardized test, status and metric reports
  • Audit the ODC lab environment to ensure smooth and optimal use of Technicolor infrastructure in their premises
  • Simulate customer reported issues or new test environments internally in Technicolor lab and provide guidance to ODC teams to enable such environments in their own premises for Technicolor ODC
Required Skills:
  • DOCSIS 3.0/3.1 or Cable BB gateway or RDKB Testing Experience is must
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the information technology area, with specific focus on cable BB gateway testing experience, and exposure with lead responsibilities for a minimum of 2 years is expected and onsite exposure at customer location is an added advantage
  • Proficiency with Testing of features/functionalities, but not limited to DOCSIS 3.0/3.1, WiFi, TR69, SNMP, Routing, MoCA, UPnP, WECB, eMTA, Routing protocols,
  • Hands on expertise with testing tools like Spirent Test Centre, IXIA IP Performance testing, AirPcaP with Wireshark, ixCharoit, CD Router etc., DOCSIS spectrum analysis
  • Hands on exposure with test configurations on CMTS ( DOCSIS 3.0/DOCSIS 3.1) to emulate customer specific configurations
  • Ability to understand reported issues (internal or from customer), ability to triage and identify the root cause by simulating the issues under lab environments.
