Come and Join us at Vestas!Global Supply Chain > SDC Chennai > SIOPAt Vestas, Service SIOP (Sales, Inventory Operations Planning) we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, and at the same time have an optimized supply chain with low inventory and efficient set up.Responsibilities
• Improving Inventory turn over (ITO) and Material Availability & Reliability through Methodical reasoning of the root causes and corrective measures
• Keeping track of material consumption patterns, Replenishment lead time and Forecast fluctuation and mitigating the risks in case of deviations
• Defining lean initiatives & Process improvements
• Typically the day in vestas, SDC, SIOP will be spent on evaluating the safety stock, forecast, mitigating the stock out risks, Root cause analysis on the on time delivery misses, Collaboration with various global stakeholders etc
Qualifications
• Graduate/post graduate in any stream having experience in Demand -supply planning and Balancing
• 2-4 years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and spare parts /service environment
• Good knowledge in SAP (MM, SD module specifically), MS Excel
Competencies
• Ability to understand the Master data parameters and its implications on the planning side
• Methodical approach towards problem solving ( 8D, Fishbone etc)
• Basic statistics knowledge with interest in handlung data using SQL/R/Python/Data Analytics tools
• Ability to understand the complex supply chain network and its intricasies
