Job Description

    As a Supply Network Operations Supervisor in the Purchasing & Procurement career area, you will be responsible for leading a team of individual contributors to execute processes efficiently to meet volume, velocity, and quality requirements. Your role includes personnel management, professional development, and ensuring excellence in quality, cost, and operations metrics. You will also identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and mitigate risks in the operational area.**Key Responsibilities:**- Supervise ongoing operations and individual contributor performance- Plan, organize teams, and execute assigned processes for consistent quality results- Manage workload, capacity, and lead continuous improvement efforts- Collaborate with other functions in GSND for operational execution and metrics monitoring**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience- 2-4 years of job-related experience- Proficiency in English required; Local site language preferred- Previous 6 Sigma Greenbelt/Black Belt experience preferred- Facility with lean manufacturing and understanding of lean principles preferred- Strong communication and negotiation skills- 5-8 years of office automation related experience and team management skills preferredAt Caterpillar, an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO), you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement within the supply network operations.
