Job Description

    *Only Bangalore LocationPrime focus on Must to have skill - Python, Java & API Testing Good to have skill - Database testingGeneral Description: As a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) you will be applying your strong software development and test automation skillsto design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve customer-facing software solutions. You will also be enabling yourteam in adopting test automation frameworks and best practices to ensure we are building the right product the rightway. The Ideal Candidate: Obsessed with creating the best end-to-end customer experience; Owns the outcome bytaking personal accountability for delivering strong results; Experience designing and building applications and using testautomation frameworks; Multi-stack engineer with knowledge in a breadth of technologies and test automationframeworks (Ruby or Java, Cucumber, Javascript/Angular, HTTP, RESTful web services); Extensive experience workingwith Java and its ecosystem; Passionate about Test Driven Development, developing robust software, writing testableand maintainable code; Self-directed, willing to take initiative, pragmatic and results-oriented; Has keen attention todetail and wants to solve really hard problems, not just detect them; Able to learn large software systems end-to-endquickly; Keenly interested in learning new technologies and their adoption; Able to work with remote and internationalteam members. Primary Responsibilities: Use your knowledge of testing and testability to infl uence better softwaredesign, promote proper software engineering and bug prevention strategies, testability and security; Actively participatein the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests,component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests; Supportthe team in designing reliable, portable, accurate and trustworthy tests, and in integrating them into CI/CD pipelines;Collaborate with team members on improving teams test coverage, release velocity and production health; Enable theteam in designing and developing automation harnesses using Ruby or Java w/ Cucumber and SOA Test; Participate inapplication code and test code reviews with rest of the Scrum team; Participate in development using Javascript/Angularand Webservices/HTTP. Qualifi cations: A Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software engineering orrelated fi eld; 6 to 9 years of experience with designing and building front-end and webservice applications whileincorporating test automation frameworks; Working experience with: Ruby (or Java); Cucumber; Javascript; HTTP;RESTful web services; Jenkins. Preferred Experience: AngularJS (2 or above); NodeJS; Docker; Genesys Contact CenterPlatform; Working experience with test automation frameworks (Cucumber w/ Ruby, SOATest, Selenium); Hands-onexperience with creating and using Test Doubles and Virtual Assets; Knowledge of software engineering practices for thefull software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, buildprocesses, testing, and operations; Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment.,
