Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application. What you will be doing

  • Installing, configuring and maintaining AIX/Linux/Solaris environments
  • Configuration and administration of Logical volume manager
  • Patch and Package administration
  • NFS Management
  • Knowledge in VIO Patching, firmware Upgrades, IFIX management and administration
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting Unix operating system related issues
  • Knowledge of AIX/Linux/Solaris OS patching.
What you bring:
  • Live patching, LDOM and CDOM patching in Solaris
  • Experience in shell/perl scripts
  • System Hardening and OS Vulnerability Management
  • Yum repository Management
  • Patching Tool expertise (HPSA, BigFix or any other industry standard patching tool) is required
  • Knowledge in change management process and ITIL process
  • Good communication skills (Written and Verbal)
  • Should be flexible to work in shifts/Weekends and collaborate with the team
