Job Description

    Position: System Engineer Experience: 1-3 Years Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time & Night ShiftJob Summary:We are seeking a motivated System Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS services, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting infrastructure operations. This role requires a proactive professional skilled in cloud computing and automation to help optimize and maintain our IT systems.Responsibilities:
    • Infrastructure Management: Deploy, monitor, and manage servers, applications, and services on AWS Cloud.
    • Cloud Services: Configure and maintain core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
    • System Monitoring: Implement monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or similar tools to ensure system health and performance.
    • Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve technical issues related to system performance, network connectivity, and cloud infrastructure.
    • Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (using Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for system automation and process improvement.
    • Security and Compliance: Implement IAM policies, manage permissions, and ensure systems meet company security standards.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, to optimize system performance and scalability.
    • Documentation: Prepare system documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing guides for system operations.
    Qualifications:
    • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
    • AWS Expertise:
      • Hands-on experience with core AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
      • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts, such as VPCs, Subnets, and Security Groups.
    • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Grafana.
    • Operating Systems: Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows server environments.
    • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation.
    • Networking Knowledge: Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or similar.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
    • Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
    • Experience with database management in cloud environments (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB).
    Soft Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication.
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a dynamic team.
    • Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
