The company is one of Indias leading automotive technology companies, designing, manufacturing and supplying highly engineered, mission critical automotive systems and components such as differential assemblies, differential gears,conventional and micro- hybrid starter motors, BSG systems, EV traction motors (BLDC and PMSM) and motor control units to automotive OEMs across the world is looking for suitable candidatesJob title System Engineering- DY Manager/Asst Manager Organization PD Department System & Application Engineering Hierarchical Manager(s) Title(s) GM / Sr. Manager System and Application Engineering. Location Chennai Role Specification Partition and decompose system level requirements to sub-system and component levels ensuring full traceability. Undertake design, analysis and verification using SysML. Develop both logical and physical architectures. To provide technical guidance and leadership for teams of engineers to deliver client projects in the following ways Capture system level requirements from the customer needs Partition and decompose system level requirements to sub-system and component levels ensuring full traceability Undertake design, analysis and verification using SysML Develop both logical and physical architectures Develop suite of Systems Engineering documentation, including but not limited to, SRD (System Requirements Document), System Design Description (SDD), SSDD (Sub-System Design Description) and ICD (Interface Control Document) Liaison with Program Management Office (PMO), purchasing and finance to meet project requirements System validation including performance validation Use case development & Scenario development Customer interfacing for technical aspects of a project In addition to the specific technical duties outlined above, the Systems Engineer will be involved in Driving the company-wide adoption of Systems Engineering good practice and development of quality procedures Providing technical input to Systems Engineering and Integration business development across the product groups and market sectors On Time Release of System functional specifications & Version control, Communication.Releases for SRD Change Requests (CRs) raised after release Professional Experience ~10 yrs of Automotive experience in Automotive with Bachelor/Master degree in Automotive/Mechatronics/Power Electronics. Significant experience in a Systems Engineering role developing complex vehicle systems across the product lifecycle.Extensive knowledge of requirements management and analysis tools Excellent knowledge of vehicle system architecture design considerations Good knowledge of vehicle based networking and communications protocols (including CANbus) Good knowledge of vehicle based control and electrical systems Knowledge of system level safety concepts and requirements, related standards (including ISO 26262) beneficial and industry tools such as DFMEA, FTA, Hazard Analysis Knowledge of Systems Modelling Language (SysML) Person/Competency Specification Personal SkillsAttributes Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels Excellent problem-solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges.
