Job Description

    Job Profile NEC Corporation India Pvt. Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly talented 5G RU System Test Manager with strong RAN/Radio expertise at NEC Mobile Network Excellence Center (NMEC), Chennai Qualifications : BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech or its Equivalent Scope of Work
    • Testing In-charge for 5G Radio development activities
    • Responsible for defining test scope, test plans, development/test environment and establishing quality metrics and other key performance indicators
    • Interpret 3GPP, Regulatory(FCC/ETSI System and Radio level) specification to derive requirements and test steps for RF and RU Performance level testing
    • Work with radio HW design and architecture teams to analyse failures and provide feedback for design improvement
    Domain skills Must to have:
    • Good understanding on UMTS/LTE/GSM air interface concepts, calls flows and protocols
    • Basic exposure to NodeB-UE functional testing with E2E understanding and working with UEs and core
    • Thorough understanding of 3GPP TS38141-1 and TS38141-2
    • Thorough understanding of O-RAN.WG4.CONF.0-v02.00 and O-RAN.WG4.CUS.0-v05.00
    • Experience in ACLR, EVM , Sensitivity, Beam forming and Beam pattern analysis in 5G
    • Handling of Test equipment like Spectrum Analyser, VSA/VSG, Emulators (Channel/UE/NW) etc.
    • Test setup preparation and calibration
    • 5+ Yrs of Experience in leading a team, prioritizing tasks. Strong Communication skills
    Good to Have:
    • Good knowledge on protocols RRM, RRC, RLC, MAC, RANAP, S1AP, NAS
    • Handling of RF Equipment like NA, ORAN-Studio, Channel Emulator
    • RF System Conformance Testing, Antenna measurement
    • RF Integration and Performance Validation
    • RF Circuit level debug and testing
    • Sound Knowledge in antenna array test, IMO radio test, beamforming and OTA test
    • Experience in test equipment automation - VSA, VSG, NA, UE etc.
    • Debugging field log/data and identifying potential problems and re-creating the same in lab
