Job Description

An EDI System Analyst at Expeditors will be a professional who specializes in analyzing, designing and implementing the EDI translations. EDI System Analyst assess the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaise with end users, software vendors and developers in order to achieve the desired outcome. The profile requires the person to use analysis and design techniques to solve the business problems. They will be responsible for scope impact analysis, design considerations, testing and implementation timelines.Qualifications EXPERINCE : min 3 to 8 yearsESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills
  • Understanding of database structures, data files and data relationships
  • Knowledge on EDI Standards like ANSI X12, EDIFACT
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders
  • Ability to design creative solutions to meet the clients business and technical needs
  • Excellent attention to detail required
  • Experience in designing the technical mapping specifications
  • Prepare the test plan and validate the test results
  • Excellent communication skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience in Logistic or supply chain domain is an added advantage
  • Experience on different file formats like Flat File, XML, CSV is good to have
  • Knowledge on Communication Protocols like FTP/ HTTPS/ AS2 / VAN / MQ series is an added advantage
  • Experience with SQL
  • Minimum 4 years College Degree in Technical and/or Business Disciplines
  • Prior Business Analysis experience is preferred
