We create an experience that allows customers and internal stakeholders to build software using the best of internal and third-party technologies.Partner with the bestThe System Engineer Principal will work closely to manage of Atlassian JIRA/Confluence & other technical collaboration platforms. The responsibility includes maintenance, patch upgrades, administration, platform upgrades, L3 tickets, migration, enhancements, new feature identification/development, etc. You will closely work with internal teams & vendors to maintain and enhance our tools and processes.As a Systems Engineer Principal, you will be responsible for:
• Designing new integration solutions and bridging the gaps by understanding user requirement to maintain quality in application
• Ensuring 24/7 uptime of Atlassian JIRA/Confluence & other technical collaboration platforms by providing primary support.
• Supporting L3 tickets in JIRA/Confluence & other technical collaboration systems, install, configure and upgrade server/applications softwares.
• Writing technical design documentation for infrastructure and upgrades, identify & own newer features development and new add-ons.
• Developing scripts for automation of admin activities including puppet/shell/python and help with manual and automated testing.
• Leading whitehat incidents with in-depth technical details. Troubleshoot and perform RCA of issues that arise in TCS ecosystems.
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
• Have Degree in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering (or any relevant stream)
• Have 10+ years experience as administrator in Collaboration tools. 6 years Admin experience in Atlassian JIRA/Confluence [Data Center Version]
• Have experience in Linux, developing scripts using puppet/Shell/Python. Also, Designing deployment strategy for Atlassian data center apps.
• Experience in tuning & troubleshooting, securing applications from any threat and L3 support of Atlassian tools.
• Experience in installing, configuring and monitoring solutions to help quickly identify various points of failure.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills. Able to multi-task, energized by support requests and other interruptions
