We also provide them with unparalleled growth and development opportunities.Role Overview:Our field sales professionals rely on proactive technical support during the sales process and our Specialist Systems Engineers in the Modern Data Center team always step up to the mark. From delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations, to developing detailed installations or system integration plans with our Alliance Partners, we ensure our customers get the innovative, relevant, inter-operable solutions they need.Key Responsibilities

  • Need to be extremely business minded and be able to help assist with the creation of a business plan/model as well as the TCO and Cost to Serve models required to create offerings.
  • Develop and own the technical relationships within our Global Alliance partners to create and expand solution offerings and footprint.
  • Educate the customer and internal sales teams on the capabilities and offerings provided by the Alliance Partner based on Dell EMC technologies in the Modern Data Center portfolio of Primary Storage, Converged and Hyper Converged Infrastructure solutions and the Dell Technologies Cloud Portfolio.
  • Defend and extend the footprint of the Dell EMC product line against competition.
  • Ability to work at all levels of a customer from a administrator to the CIO to the VP of sales and adapt the conversation appropriately
Essential Requirements
  • 12+ years of industry experience in infrastructure presales
  • Extreme deep technical knowledge of either the Dell EMC Primary Storage portfolio or the Hyper Converged portfolio.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in different stages of the sales motion across multiple partners
  • Ability to operate in a matrix reporting structure with multiple stakeholder
