    Job title: Team Leader - KYCJob location: Chennai/BangaloreJob category: Full-time permanent positionWorking hours: UK Business hoursKYC Lead Analyst is mainly responsible for team management, case assignment and also working as an (senior) analyst conducting peer reviews, responsible for escalations and providing on the job training to analysts and senior analysts who perform customer/relationship Due Diligence analysis.Performing customer/relationship Due Diligence analysis consists of performing research and news-screening on shareholding structures, directors and business activities of companies, located all over the world. Once this information has been gathered, a Sanctions, Political Exposure andAdverse Media check on the company and related parties can be performed.Interested candidates can share their profiles to hidden_email Business Function:Equiniti KYC Solutions is transforming customer regulatory compliance (KYC: Know Your Client and CDD: Customer Due Diligence) from an internal, often ad-hoc chore into a high-quality, on-demand Client and Relationship Due Diligence and Risk Assessment service. Key to our and our clients success is our KYC Passport system.Internal Equiniti KYC Solutions relationships:- Analysts, Senior Analysts and Manager- Quality TeamExternal relationships:- Occasional client Relationship Bankers, client AML-Officers, other clientpersonnel- Occasional indirect and direct interaction with clients customersCore Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Ensure compliance data, checks and supporting evidence is in accordance with the workflow-embedded and process-manual rules and requirements
    • Ensure customer-sourced documentation and information and 3rd-party sourced documents and information are legible, accurate and consistent
    • Meet the request turnaround times and standards as defined in the Service Level Agreements.
    • Subject matter expertise on process, responsible for escalations, providing on the job training to Analysts, Senior Analysts, conducting peer reviews, etc.
    • Discuss, explain and clarify exceptions to the rules, uncertain information or screening outcomes with Senior Analyst(s);
    • Review case analysis submitted by Senior Analysts that forms the foundation for challenging the case outcome with solid arguments;
    • Work closely with the team and give input to drive, control and prioritize various analyses;
    • Provide input to the Quality Team to ensure all exceptions are identified and reported in the process manuals;
    • Attend and engage during the periodic QA reviews;
    • Obtain and maintain thorough knowledge and insight into the assigned portfolio of market(s), client / relationship group, sector, country and regional areas;
    • Understand the regulations and procedures of processes and remain informed about the updates.
    Skills Attributes and Behaviour:
    • Should have 7+ years work experience.
    • Strong team handling experience, case assignment, etc.
    • Interest in and basic knowledge and understanding of financial markets, corporate structures and legal entities;
    • Competency with PCs and common operating systems, office productivity systems, browsers and Internet search.
    • Motivate, mentor and manage the team.
    • Set performance goals and perform performance appraisal for the team
    • Track deliverables, quality and productivity against the set KPIs
    • Track, monitor and report progress of work to Manager
