Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities : Author high quality , consistent , detailed , Verification Procedures used for automated / manual testing Perform FA installations , configurations and execution of Verification Procedures Report and verify defects using the bug tracking system Verify that software functions according to functional and user requirements and software design specifications Work with Development and Technical Services teams to efficiently troubleshoot problems Review installation , upgrade , and system manuals Maintain the QA testing environments Acquire knowledge of Industry Standards - HCFA , HL7 Actively participate in automation process of Verification Procedures (architect , develop execute) Explore new methods for software verification and validation including automation Education and Experience : Graduation in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience2 years SQA testing experianceWorking with and testing of Client Server applications on Windows platformNecessary Knowledge : Interactive Backend system testing in both manual and automated testingExperience in a Defect Tracking System.Ability to carry out scheduled plans and provide feedback to project team.General knowledge of SQL / SQL Server platformWindows 2000 / 2003 server , including OS installation , upgrade and security settings.Automation a big plus,
