Job Description

As the Technical Lead, Software Engineering at Med-Metrix, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while improving existing functionality. Your role will involve fixing reported bugs, enhancing application performance, and continuously evaluating new technologies to boost development efficiency.**Key Responsibilities:**- Implement various aspects of application design such as high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.- Design and implement REST API web services and scalable APIs.- Program for Serverless framework and demonstrate robust experience with Typescript (Angular 13, NodeJs), .NET Core, SQL and NoSQL languages, APIs, and Service Oriented Architecture.- Guide architectural decisions to align with long-term product and infrastructure goals.- Evaluate and integrate tools and technologies to enhance software delivery and team productivity.- Review, refactor, and contribute to complex codebases while enforcing high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.- Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure-as-code strategies in collaboration with DevOps.- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback for all developers.- Utilize expertise in relational databases, continuous delivery, deployment pipelines, and computer science fundamentals to create an exceptional user experience.- Develop frameworks and processes for applications projects in a structured, maintainable fashion.- Evaluate and enhance application performance, perform unit and system level testing, and collaborate closely with product development teams.- Develop automated unit test cases tied to each User Story and Bug, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.**Qualifications:**- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.- Significant experience in full-stack application development using Angular, C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, TypeScript, and SQL Server Technologies.- Proven success in leading code reviews and implementing performance optimization strategies.- Strong Object-oriented programming skills and proficiency with SDLC methodologies like SAFe, Agile, and Test-driven development.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.- Expertise in LINQ, Functional Programming, multithreading, Restful API/GraphQL development, and writing efficient SQL queries.- Solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.- Ability to work well individually and with a team, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.Please note that Med-Metrix is committed to a discrimination-free workplace and values diversity among its employees.
