Job title: Technical Manager/Senior Technical Manager - Hardware board designLocation: ChennaiJob ProfileNEC Corporation India Pvt. Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly talented Hardware Technical Manager with strong RAN/Radio expertise to lead the design and development activities at NEC Mobile Network Excellence Center (NMEC), ChennaiScope of Work

  • Technical cum Project In-charge for Hardware Design and Development Requirements gathering, Design, Implementation, Validation, Regulatory testing and support for Pilot/mass production
  • Interaction with various vendors/ OEMs to identify the right solution
  • Cowork with internal/external engineering team on RF, FPGA, Mechanical and Software team etc. to continuously improve the quality of the product
Qualifications: BE/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech or its EquivalentExperience 12+ yearsDomain skills
  • Strong Hardware Design Capabilities for Base station design on LTE/4G/5G Radio
  • Experience in Handling Complete Product Design Life Cycle
  • Good hands-on experience in High speed design towards DDR4, PCIe, Ethernet SGMII, RGMII, 10G interface, USB 3.0, eCPRI, JESD204
  • Sound and hands-on experience in Product Compliance/Regulatory standards and testing
  • Experience in Analog, Digital, and Mixed-signal board design
  • Proven ability to work with Software/DSP teams to optimize MIMO systems
  • Knowledge of Schematic & PCB design tools like Cadence
  • Hands-on experience in usage of HW measuring tools like Signal analyzer, Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, etc.
