Job Description

    As a Technical Operations Engineer at MX, you will have the opportunity to work on powering the next generation of internal tooling, automation, and analytics in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with the Technical Operations team to support business-critical initiatives across the BI platform, customer support tooling, and internal systems. If you are a technically curious problem-solver who enjoys building dashboards, scripting automations, and overcoming operational challenges, this role is the perfect fit for you.Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and visualizations in BI tools like Domo to facilitate data-driven decisions within Support and Operations. You will also be tasked with writing JavaScript-based utilities to enhance workflows in Zendesk, supporting internal applications that automate tasks and increase team productivity, and maintaining and improving workflows in Jira and Confluence.To excel in this role, you should possess 3-5 years of experience in a technical support, engineering, or ops tooling role. Proficiency in languages like JavaScript and React, as well as hands-on experience with Domo dashboards and cards, will be essential. Additionally, familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Atlassian products, and customer support platforms like Zendesk will be advantageous.Your ability to investigate and resolve issues in the tooling stack, collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and communication skills will be crucial for success in this position. A growth mindset, willingness to tackle problems head-on, and basic understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and automation tools will also be valuable assets.In this role, you will be expected to work in the office for a standard 40-hour workweek. The collaborative nature of the work environment at MX emphasizes face-to-face interactions, quick decision-making, and spontaneous collaboration among team members. Being physically present in the office fosters seamless communication, immediate problem-solving, and idea exchange, contributing to the overall success of projects.The compensation for this role will include a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, as applicable.
