Job Description

Position: Technical Support EngineerExperience: 3 to 5 YearsLocation: ChennaiTechnical / Functional Skills Required:

  • Preferred background in backup devices or DRaaS offerings(MS Azure, Quorum, Carbonite, Zerto, Zetta-Net)
  • Preferred background with VM(VM Ware) and/or HyperV
  • Linux and Windows server administration,( Linux administrationcovers backups, file restores, disaster recovery, newsystembuilds, hardware maintenance, automation, user maintenance, filesystem housekeeping, application installation and configuration,systemsecurity management, and storage management.) and network architecture. (seven network architecture componentsare LANs, building backbones, campus backbones, WANs, Internet access, e-commerce edge and data centers)
  • Proven ability to clearly identify business problems, key issues, communicate necessary decisions, facilitate problem resolution, and devise process improvements
  • Previous customer service experience dealing directly with external customers.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross functionally and globally to achieve successful outcomes for complex business objectives
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
