Job Description

    Technical Skill Set:- Knowledge of DITA- Knowledge of DITA and DITA best practices- Experience with any XML editor- Proficient in DITA elements and attributes - Knowledge of single sourcing- Understanding of DITA reuse mechanisms- Proficient in minimalism and topic-based writing- Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) - Version control and branching- Metadata concepts- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics, and basic engineering concepts.Responsibilities:- Understand complex technical concepts and interpret it in simple understandable language.- Gather information from a variety of sources like engineering instructions, engineering drawings, CAD models and from SMEs.- Convey clear, concise, and accurate technical information.- Communicate with global stakeholders.- Gather quality data and act on improvement actions at team level.- Review documents written and illustrated by other team members to ensure clarity, completeness, accuracy, compliance with style guide.- Work in a collaborative environment.- Multitasking.Technical Writing/Content Development/Technical Documentation.
