Responsible for sending the patient samples to the laboratory in regular intervals and following it up.Responsible to obtain patient weight, monitor and record vital signs before and during the procedure.Responsible for correctly arranging and reusing of dialyzer and tubing in proper order and sterilizing them with formalin under the supervision of Senior.Responsible to assess patient for any complications that may occur during the procedure and to be ready to deal with the emergencies.Responsible for administering IV injections for pre and post dialysis patients as per the doctors advice.Responsible to take care of the water treatment plant in the absence of the technical assistant. Also supervising over the weekly pipe disinfection and tank washing.Responsible for disinfection of machines after one complete run of dialysis.Maintaining RO water plant and also responsible for its cleaning and infection controls.Handling isolation dialysis unit carefully and also the regular dialysis cases and responsible for regulating re-use and infection control under the supervision of Senior.Bi-carb preparation and maintaining sterility under the supervision of the Senior.Assuring patient safety during procedures:- Attending to machines and all technical difficulties.- Keeping a track of the vitals of the patients.- Observation of Fistula site.- Prevention of Bleeding for patients.Responsible attending the IP dialysis needs in MICUs and performing procedures like CRRT, Plasma Phoresis and APD on these patients on site under the supervision of the Senior.Responsible for Bio-medical waste management and patient and staff safety in the department.Responsible for explaining the procedure to the patient and to ensure that the patient is comfortable.Responsible to raise the dialysis bills and for other items used in the Haemodialysis unit in the absence of the Executive.To maintain technical records in the department.To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiativesTo be aware of departments performance and objective.To carryout data collection/support in data collection.To adhere the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.,
