Job Description

*Pre-Procedure Activities

  • Call the patient and identify the patient details like name, UHID number and age.
  • Check whether the patient details entered in system, if not, enter the same.
  • Check the payment voucher.
  • Prepare the patient for the concerned procedure and explain the procedure.
  • Make the patient lie down comfortably.
Post-Procedure Activities
  • To disconnect all electrodes from the patient
  • After the procedure, inform the counter staff to transfer the patient to concerned wards
  • If in-patient
  • Enter all details in the nominal register.
  • Wipe the jelly after the procedure.
  • Put the stamp on voucher regarding dispatch of the report.
  • Direct the patient to dispatch counter to collect the report.
  • Report to the HOD/Asst Manager about functioning of the equipment status.
  • To give priority to Emergency and sick patients after consulting with superiors
  • To do procedures in the ICU/ER on priority basis.
  • To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives
  • To be aware of departments performance and objective.
  • To carryout data collection/support in data collection.
  • To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.
  • To perform any job/task as and when assigned by the superior.
