Job Description

  • Project Role :Tester
  • Project Role Description :Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts. Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the teams overall test objectives. Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.

  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : 1 Analyse requirements user stories and review acceptance criteria to ensure they are fit for purpose, testable 2 Document and execute high quality test plans Test Scripts, test data for functional areas under development 3 Attend Agile/Scrum ceremonies eg Stand-ups, 3-Amigo sessions, retrospectives, Sprint planning review 4 Execution of functional, regression and integration test scripts 5 Identify faults/defects 6 Work with Automation QA team to help them script flow
      • Technical Experience : 1 Experience working in Agile environment - Agile Scrum, TDD/BDD 2 Ability to push back and insist on resolution 3 JIRA and Confluence 4 Experience working in the Financial Services / Banking Industry 5 1-2 years functional test execution experience
      • Professional Attributes : 1 Ability to quickly learn, becoming proficiently knowledgeable of client applications 2 Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment 3 Excellent communication written oral and interpersonal skills
    • Educational Qualification : 1 Minimum 15 years of full time education 2 A Computer Science/IT related Degree / Diploma
