If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Test Analyst to join our team in Chennai, Tamil N du (IN-TN), India (IN).Test Analyst:Defining and implementing the project test strategy and approacho Define the test policy and approach for plan for projects in conjunction with the Project Manager and other parties involved in testingo Pull together all impacted test teams to form a project test teamo Ensure the project test team is clear on the test approach and plan, their responsibilities and the timing of their involvemento Ensure that all relevant and impacted parties have been engaged in the definition of test objectiveso Ensure test activities are identified to mitigate all test objectiveso Document all the test activities in the project test strategy, and issue the project test strategy to timescaleo Meet with the project / business to document which test activities are being performed and which test objectives the business accepts as risksCoordinating project test activitieso Act as the main point of contact regarding test issues for a projecto Identify the need for test improvements and drive them into the project and related test activitieso Attend project meetings as required and regularly track the progress of all test activitieso Regularly review and update RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and the scope of testing (test objectives)o Issue the project test completion report to timescaleo Conduct a testing Project Implementation Review (PIR) 1 month post go-live of the project providing input into and taking actions from the Project PIR (co-ordinating all inputs from and actions to the relevant test teams)o Escalate project test issues to the project managero Escalate project test lead issues to line management/Test Governance forumManaging stakeholders, partners and supplier managemento Communicate and maintain relationships with the impacted business, operational and technical teams (internal and external) throughout the delivery of projectso Ensure deliverables are agreed with external partners and that end delivery meets specification and contractual obligationso Represent testing considerations in partner selection and commercial discussionso Ensure all test results are clearly communicated to the relevant development teamsAssuring qualityo Ensure the appropriate use of tools, metrics, and processes by projects and programmeso Review the efficiency of programmes and projects ensuring that they are operating within their budget and time constraints and contribute to optimizationo Provide direction and support to programme/project managers on all aspects of testingo Ensure projects and programmes adhere to organization testing standards, and that the test partner is supported by the right levels of resourceso Ensure testing issues and defects are escalated in a timely manner to the Project/Programme Manager and the Test Managero Log all defects raised during QA, and track them until resolutionPrimary skills required:Knowledge of software quality assurance methodology.Proficiency with requirements gathering tools.Test Case ManagementDefect Management and trackingManual Testing (hands on)Excellent communication skillsSecondary skills required:NANice/Good to have:Test AutomationPerformance testingIs any certification required ISTQB Testing certification (nice to have)Agile methodologies (nice to have)Total years of Experience:5-7 years of relevant exp in testing ManualEducational Qualification:Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.If any additional Skills Required:NANotice period / Immediate Joiners:Immediate JoinersShift Timings:General ShiftWork From Home or Work from Client Location:Chennai About NTT DATA Services NTT DATA Services is a global business and IT services provider specializing in digital, cloud and automation across a comprehensive portfolio of consulting, applications, infrastructure and business process services.
