Provide efficient reports on defect status, team progress, and own assignments Demonstrates analytical skills in assessing user, functional and technical requirements Demonstrates a working understanding of functional testing techniques and strategies. Demonstrates a strong understanding of web testing techniques and web testing strategies. Demonstrates a working understanding of test analysis and design. Demonstrates a working understanding of quality assurance and/or software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to share that knowledge with peers, and project team members. Demonstrates design, code and document automated test cases within a defined framework to ensure quality of our application. The key skills required are as follows : Knowledge of system and Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies Knowledge of RUP, Agile methodologies. Strong working knowledge of HP Quality Center or IBM rational tools (RQM, RTC / CQ) would be a plus. Capability to read and understand & analyze application architecture/design documents. Demonstrates basic knowledge of data principles and concepts to support data quality, validation and ownership Demonstrates ability to apply test automation methodologies, lifecycles, frameworks, processes and tools to all project work; Leverages system development approaches for test automation purposes SQL skills would be an added advantage. Proficiency in or exposure to RSA Archer is a plus test automationmethodologies, lifecycles, frameworks, processes and tools to all project work; Leverages system development approaches for test automationpurposes
