You will mostly focus on: Designing and implementing automated front end and back end test infrastructure Designing, implementing, and running complex automation scenarios Debugging and fixing automation code Following Agile Scrum methodologies Reporting product bugs found through automated tests Reporting status to quality and engineering management Talking both to customers and Flatirons colleagues around the world How do I qualify for the job You have a strong understanding of Quality Processes You have excellent problem solving skills You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English You are able to work independently as well as within a team You are a self- starter with ability to work with little direction You pay attention to detail and are passionate about consistently delivering a high- quality product! Basic requirements: You have a degree in engineering, computer science or similar 4 years of experience in software development with a focus on Software Quality Engineering. Experience with Automation tools. Knowledge of distributed systems is preferred. Proficient with the following technologies is preferred: XML, XSL, Java, Drools, and Python Experience with automation, testable and modular code, test- driven development, and/ or iterative development is a plus.,
