The senior automated test engineer will work across several application team(s) to coach team members, embed processes and facilitate change.They will ensure that teams can validate the quality of the product delivered to the stakeholders as per group standards.They are also responsible for driving initiatives, improving group standards and managing upwards.Skills & Attributes:High testing and analytical skillMinimum 3+ years of testing experienceFull understanding of the SDCL, especially Agile methodologiesFamiliar with test management processSolid working knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as NUnit, Cucumber, Selenium etcUnderstand BDD and functional test automationFamiliar with non-functional requirements of software development and have a grasp of 12 factor app methodologyHave demonstrable programming knowledge in one OOP language, preferably JavaFamiliar with Performance Testing (e.g. volume testing) is a plusKey Responsibilities:Develop automation scripts and meet the delivery timelines in terms of test automationShould be able to perform manual testing where required and map it into test automation scriptsAbility to mentor and coach application team members in test automation and software delivery practicesBring fresh ideas and ways of working and be strong willed enough to effect change while also being open to change,
