The successful candidate will use previous Programme Test Management experience and knowledge of application/product and infrastructure testing to develop, implement, maintain, and improve overall programme test management strategy. They will also be responsible for providing QC and QA oversight to individual projects.Quality Assurance and Control across all projects in a defined portfolio. This role will focus on IT system development, including adherence to the system development framework to ensure quality project IT deliverables.The scope of the role will include projects already included as well as projects yet to be approved and activated as part of the Programme Vision. It is therefore essential to provide tactical as well as strategic test planning to address future direction of the programme.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProgramme Test Strategy and Execution:Develop and document Programme test planDevelop testing strategies and framework to meet the testing mandate.Author and maintain Test Management Plan documentationDocumenting tests findingsReport on test progress as well as on agreed key performance indicatorsMaintain and publish defect logsProvide initial assessment of user identified defects / issues / bugsDefine scope of testing within the context of each release/deliveryQuality Control and Quality Assurance:Provide QC and QA for of each project plansQA traceability of requirements and scopeShare experience with existing teams to improve testing policy and procedures.Perform systematic independent reviews and assurance reviews across the programmeExcellent understanding of Test Strategy, Test Traceability, Test Evidences, and Test Closure Report which form UTM (Unified Test Model) pillars under SCB s System Delivery FrameworkTesting Expertise and Continuous Improvement:Provide expertise and recommendation to automate testing where possible.Become an expert and implement bank s testing standards across the programmeCoach, develop and manage testing teams in matrix environment.Experience in testing across multiyear programmesIdentify cross project issues and capture learning and best practices for future effortsPromote a culture of innovationContinuously seek opportunities for improvement within role, processes, team, and portfolioKeep up to date of industry project assurance methodologies and practicesInfluence stakeholders to ensure successful management of programmes and projectsEducate stakeholders to improve project and portfolio effectivenessHave experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office ProductsFlexibility and Programme Ambiguity:Provide Leadership to Project Test Managers in a matrix environmentAnticipate future testing needs of the programme based on the defined programme visionEffectively works with global on and offshore teamsCan present and effectively advocate for the Programme.Ability to collaborate with different teams.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:More than 5 years of Programme Testing experienceMore than 12 years of total testing experienceGood exposure to product testing. Experience with at least one industry wide 3rd party product.Any experience with industry wide products like Actimize, Mantas, Detica, One SumX, Delta Surveillance, Fortent Monitor, Accelus, SMARTS would be an added advantage.Understanding of Compliance and Financial Crime function.IT expert across design, development, testing and implementation.Excellent exposure to Waterfall & Agile delivery with proven efficiency and track record.Extensive exposure to Performance Testing.Extensive test automation experience with Java-Selenium, JenkinsKnows what quality looks like and is willing to enforce it within Standard CharteredExtensive and in-depth experience in a broad range of leadership/management roles with deep technical content experience gained specifically within QA & Testing and with strong exposure to development and Program Management disciplines.Project and Program Management experience in large complex organizationsExperience conducting quality audits.Experience leading large organizations with teams that are geographically dispersed and with virtual teams in a complex, matrix organization.Experience developing or implementing a QA program, rolling out standards.Excellent communications and presentation skills with ability to adjust communication styles depending on type of target audience.Excellent influential and negotiation skills.Experience with People Management, Vendor Management.Ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including senior management CIOs, COOs, senior business staff, project managers, test managers, testing staff.Apply now to join the Bank for those with big career ambitions.To view information on our benefits including our flexible working please visit our career pages .
