Job Title: TPR Data Migration Analyst Location: ChennaiThe nature of the job requires the applicant to work to tight deadlines, working to complete the cleansing and migration of client and transactional data to our new platform. They will be required to have excellent problem solving skills, and to be calm under pressure. The role holder requires a high level of attention to detail and interpersonal skills demonstrated by excellent oral and written communication. The successful candidate will be a team player who is friendly and confident when dealing with colleagues and technology teams. Weekend working will be requiredWhat will you be doing Proactively managing work load. Maintaining proactive collaboration with other key stakeholders to ensure completion of tasks end to end. Own any issues and manage them through to resolution. Ensuring transactions are migrated in line with controls and procedures and validate all conditions have been satisfied before releasing a transaction Accountable for identifying, analysing and resolving/implementing cleansing/migration issues to prevent re-occurrence, reducing loss to the business Work with Project manager and take joint responsibility for the control of the workflow to ensure team performance is optimised, Milestones are met by ensuring productivity and accuracy measures are in place Suggesting ideas to improve processes where necessary and evaluate the benefits and risks of such. Work with the onshore and offshore teams to prioritize tasks that needs to be turned around on exceptional basis. Proactively contribute to team performance through maintaining a flexible approach and being receptive to change Rework defects and take part in defect analysis to ensure the process is streamlined Work with the Team leader to identify training needs and performance issues, demonstrating and promoting the Bank s culture and values at all times What we re looking for: Must be a graduate from a reputed university Should have a minimum of 2 years trade finance experience Overall 5 years of experience Prior experience in handling projects or worked in analyst or processing role Experience in a fast passed role Skills that will help you in the role: CDCS/CITF / CSDG certification TSA1 & BTF Previous experience in the banking sector Risk and control awareness Certificate in LEAN/ Lean competency Where will you be working ChennaiBe More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
