Job Description

    Job Summary:The Sales Training Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for teaching, and the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs. The Sales Training Manager will be responsible for inculcating the sales team with the necessary tools, techniques, and product knowledge to achieve their targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization. The Sales Training Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify training needs, design curriculum, and deliver engaging and impactful training sessions.Job Responsibilities:1. Training Needs Analysis:- Conduct regular assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs within the sales team.- Collaborate with sales leaders, HR, and other relevant stakeholders to understand business goals and align training programs. accordingly.2. Curriculum Development:- Design, develop, including presentations, manuals, and other resources.- Create and maintain a comprehensive sales training curriculum that covers product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and other relevant topics.- Update training materials regularly to incorporate industry best practices and ensure relevance.3. Training Delivery:- Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for new hires and existing team for both field and call centre team.- Utilize various training methods, such as workshops, role-playing, and e-learning, to cater to different learning need.- Effectively use Instructor led Virtual Training program to transfer the knowledge and inculcate the jobs sills to the candidate- Cover topics such as product, process and techniques, objection handling, and customer relationship management.4. Induction Training for new hires:- Facilitate induction trainings sessions for new sales representatives to accelerate their integration into the sales team.- Provide ongoing support and guidance to new hires during their initial stages.5. Sales Process Enhancement:- Collaborate with sales leadership to improve and optimize the performance of the Sales team- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness within the sales team through continuous improvement initiatives.6. Performance Measurement:- Analyze training metrics and feedback to evaluate the impact of training initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.7. Feedback and Coaching:- Provide constructive feedback to sales representatives to help them improve their skills and achieve targets.- Offer one-on-one coaching sessions to address individual performance issues.8. Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational objectives.- Communicate regularly with sales leadership to provide understand specific training needs and tailor programs and also updates on training progress, challenges, and successes.9. Continuous Learning:- Stay current with industry trends, sales methodologies, and technological advancements to enhance training content.- Foster a culture of continuous learning among the sales team.10. Technology Integration:- Explore and leverage technology tools and platforms to enhance training delivery and effectiveness.- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sales training methodologies and technologies.11. Compliance and Documentation:- Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.- Generate reports to measure the impact of training on sales team performance.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training documentation, including records of attendance, assessments, and performance evaluations.Job Requirements / Qualifications: Education: Graduate or Postgraduate (Engineering will be an added Advantage) Experience: Overall 3 to 5 years of fulltime work experience (minimum 2 years in direct sales and 1 year in Training). Hands on experience in TNA, Training Design, Delivery and Assessment is a must Excellent presentation and communication skills. Proficient in Business English Exposure conducting effective Instructor Led Virtual Trainings Experience in designing modules using Canva, Power point and similar tools is mandatory Willingness to learn and Strech out of comfort zone Willingness to work on results focused projectsAdditional Qualification: (Not Mandatory) Diploma from ISTD or similar certification is a plus. Certified Psychometric Training Professional Knowledge about Camtasia or Screenflow will be and added advantage,
