The Role Responsibilities Strategy

This is a Transaction Screening Product Analyst role within the FCC Controls Function. The role holder will provide support to the Head of Transaction Screening and Transaction Screening Product Managers with the implementation, improvement and renovation of transaction screening related platforms and processes to areas of the bank. The role requires the person to understand and transform the Group Screening Standards into process and system requirements working with stakeholders across business divisions, compliance teams and operational areas

Business

• Support Audits and Regulatory Inspections in relation to transaction screening

• Provide advice, support and input to policies that are impacted through the transaction screening program.

• Support the TS Team with owning and maintaining process / procedures / DOIs that are impacted through the transaction screening program

• Assess and understand risk profiles of products, channels and customers and provide transaction screening solutions for FI Clearing, Cash, Trade, Securities Services, Financial Markets Business.

• Review new business requirements from a transaction screening perspective and provide solutions where required.

• Support project roll outs including definition of requirements, ensuring robust testing of delivery

• Liaise and monitor system performance in terms of quality during BAU

• Maintain a robust channel of communication with FCC teams (especially List management, FCSU/US CMS, SPOT, SORS) to facilitate a feedback loop to ensure quality, effectiveness and efficiencies of the systems processes deployed.

• Develop communications strategies and plans that deliver timely and relevant messages to the right stakeholders through appropriate activities and channels.

• Raise all issues and risks to the required FCC Governance Forums

• Understanding of Screening best practice risk management techniques and frameworks

• Group Sanctions Policy and Group Screening Standards

Governance

• Ensure all the deliverables meet the quality standards as defined in the PMP

Requirements/Change Management

• Oversee the requirements gathering as part of the process to produce the Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for system and process enhancements.

• Help review new business requirements and provide solutions where required

• Review and assess existing system and controls relevant to FCC to ascertain operational performance and effectiveness

• Analyse comprehensive impact of financial crime related regulatory matters on the relevant business area and its operations.

• Manage the change implementation via preparation of process notes, training decks, user manuals, etc

• Ensure that key changes (to laws, rules, regulations) are communicated and cascaded (in region/country), in coordination with group communications.

• Prepare and cascade lessons learned from audit findings, FCC assurance activities and specific investigations.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders

• Engage key stakeholders across upstream Business areas, Legal and Compliance Technology and Financial Crime Risk, etc

• Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills, able to converse in appropriate levels of detail with Business Heads, Frontline, Middle Office/Operations Risk, Legal Compliance (LC), Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), etc.

• Experience as the key liaison with stakeholders to define and execute improved control frameworks

Our Ideal Candidate

• Experience (more than 10 years relevant practice) in compliance and regulatory risk management

• Experience in managing detailed compliance and operational risk management processes.

• Experience in Sanctions and screening (name and transaction) surveillance, AML and terrorist financing surveillance in relation to the respective country jurisdiction, and client types, Fircosoft screening product knowledge will be a plus

• Experience in being involved in delivery and/or assurance of complex BRDs and downstream project deliverables

• Ability and experience in end to end compliance review / monitoring execution
