Job Description

Turbine Performance Analyst IN, Chennai | Professional | Full-Time |Vestas is the world leader in wind technology and a driving force in the development of the wind power industry. Come and Join us at Vestas!Service Operations, Supply Chain & Repair, SDC ChennaiTurbine Performance Analytics (TPA) major goal is to deliver to the customers across the globe, reports in superior formats - related to wind turbine electrical power production.On a daily basis, we are in cross border dialogue with different cultures which makes our work even more interesting but also more challenging and demanding. Taking under consideration the huge amount of complex aspects we deal with, each working day in TPA is a real opportunity and exciting.Responsibilities

  • Turbines data preparation and verification for the purpose of performance reporting
  • Creation of monthly and weekly performance reports for Vestas customers worldwide
  • Verification of turbines performance data correctness
  • Preparation of precise calculations of contractual indicators
  • Support internal departments and customers with special data analyzes as an response to ad hoc needs and expectations
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering with 1 to 4 years of supply chain, planning or production experience.
  • Solid experience in inventory planning in a global distribution network
  • Supply chain certifications ( eg: APICS-CPIM , CSCP ) preferred but not mandatory
  • Feeling comfortable with numbers, calculations etc.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP, Access or any data base applications
Competencies
  • Good knowledge in SAP (MM module specifically) ,MS Excel
  • Analytical skills, conceptual thinking and creative problem solving
  • Analytical approach towards problem solving ( 8D, Fishbone etc
  • Willingness to work with data base systems (administration and analysis)
  • Well organized with attention to details
  • Advanced level of communication and teamwork skill
  • Not restricting himself/herself within the Roles & Responsibilities boundaries and willingness to reach out for getting things done
  • Cross cultural understanding is needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High-quality stakeholder management skills
  • Working style is well structured, proactive, flexible and persistent.
  • Ability to communicate complex supply chain information in a simple and transparent manner
  • Good system and business understanding
