Job Description

    Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the userinterface of a product/ application as per the customer s/business requirement Do Lead Design and Development of UI for a Product Understand the requirements from UX Designer and the prototypewhich is created and implement the latest technology to create a staticdesign Collaborate with Business Analyst & Product Manager for abetter understanding of functional requirements, analysis, designdocument Collaborate with the UI developers on implementing new featuresand business requirements in Agile Methodology Develop working prototypes from UI designs for cross-platformdevices Assist and direct UI team to attain the project requirement Develop and maintains the new and existing products screens byutilizing different technologies in creating component based responsivedesign Ensure heavy use of Chrome Developer Tools + Firebug to ensurefront-end code and assets were optimized and of high-quality Lead and direct UI team of user experience designers, UIsoftware engineers and graphic designers Capability Development and Talent Pipeline Creation Manage and mentor a team of database developers, keeping themchallenged and focussed Integrate best practices through competency development,multiskilling and mandatory training compliance for the targetpopulation Participating in continuing education and training to remaincurrent on best practices, learn new programming languages, and betterassist other team members. Enable team members knowledge sharing across teams and bestpractices Team Management Resourcing Forecast talent requirements as per the current and future businessneeds Hire adequate and right resources for the team Talent Management Ensure 100% compliance to Wipro s standards of adequateonboarding and training for team members to enhance capability &effectiveness Build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their careerprogression within the organization Performance Management Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviewsand appraisals, and give constructive feedback to direct reports.
