This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.Qualification:Academic & Professional-Field of Study Graduate / Post-Graduate:Certification System Administration Certificate in any of the following areas:Linux (Solaris or AIX as Secondary)Solaris (Linux or AIX as secondary)AIX (Linux or Solaris as Secondary)Skills & AttributesThe following skills are required to be successful in performing this position:8 to 12 years experience performing high level system administration in Linux/Sun/AIX environments.Working knowledge of VERITAS Clusters. (Must)Experience on Sun, Dell, IBM Hardware, SAN storageWorking knowledge on VERITAS volume managerExperience in writing Shell or Perl script.Experience in NIS/NFS, LDAP.Experience on Jumpstart installation/Trouble shooting.Strong concepts of networking like TCP / IPGood hands on experience on Red hat Linux enterprise System administration and trouble shooting.Good Hand-on experience on Sun Solaris 8/9/10.Good experience and skill set on Zones and container.Good Skills on LDOMs.NIS, NFS and SAMBA administrationTroubleshooting on issues belongs to virtual serversRAID and LVM ManagementDNS server AdministrationKnowledge of shell scripting.Good Knowledge on Kernel Patching, Solaris & Red-Hat Patching.To carry out the scheduled activities like OS Patch management, Log file rotation.Should provide Technical Solutions/Consultation as per requirement independently.Experience on Server Builds and migration activities.Experience in Capacity planning/Server Sizing.Capability to plan and execute UNIX Security.Experience in writing Shell or Perl script.ITIL process knowledge10+ years of hands-on technical experience in UNIX (Linux, Solaris and AIX) technical operations/management.Strong UNIX and Infrastructure knowledge.Knowledge of clustering, VCS.Communication proven ability to communicate to staff, able to manage downwards, outwards and upwards.Process strong background driving adherence to process.Management Strong management skills, proven ability to manage, motivate and lead a team.International experience working offshore in a senior system administrator/team lead or management capacity.Nice to have:Apache/Tomcat Server AdministrationEMC storage Administration Knowledge.Experience in drafting information/approval/implementation/RCA documents.Knowledge of enterprise toolsets, scripting, packaging, and monitoring toolsets.Experience in drafting information/approval/implementation documents.Experience in disaster recovery practices and proceduresProactive - strong proactive approachBanking experience Tier 1 bank - Financial / Capital markets preferredDelivery proven ability to delivery in operations space, quality, scope and timelines.Excellent ability to prioritize and control activities.Independent and confident, but willing and able to harness the expertise of others.Must be flexible in terms of tasks and working hours including working on weekends if needed.Apply now to join the Bank for those with big career ambitions.To view information on our benefits including our flexible working please visit our career pages .,
