Job Description

    • Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals
    • Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time
    Role Purpose:
    • Directing and coordinating all the production related work on the shop floor.
    • Production and raw material planning in co-ordination with DGM / AGM / Sr. Manager / Manager- Production.
    • Achieving Production targets with respect to the plan.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Training of personnel with respect to Good Manufacturing Practices.
    • Maintain the Production equipment in co-ordination with EAM department.
    • Ensure safety, sustainability, health and environment measures are adhered within the team.
    • Implementation of CAPA for non-conforming products based on co-ordination with DGM / AGM / Sr. Manager / Manager- Production.
    • Product dispatch in co-ordination with QC, QA project leader/superior and Logistic department.
    • Directing and coordinating all the production related work on the shop floor.
    • Production and raw material planning in co-ordination with DGM / AGM / Sr. Manager / Manager- Production.
    • Achieving Production targets with respect to the plan.
    • Reviewing of process records and production related documents.
    • Identifying training needs for production personnel, organizing, and ensuring that every employee of department is trained adequately.
    • Maintenance and up-gradation of production facility in co-ordination with Maintenance / Project Department.
    • Ensure Responsibility allotment within team members.
    • Ensure adherence of the team to cGMP and Hygiene requirements within production environment.
    • Drive the importance of Data integrity and compliance and track individual functional performance.
    • Develop productivity metrics, track and monitor teams performance.
    • Establish a continual improvement environment.
    • Establish internal SLAs to increase coordination between stakeholders.
    • Customer retention and addition of business volume from existing clients through scientific excellence and relationship building
    Leadership Capabilities:
    • Recruitment and talent development for department: Recruit, train and retain talent in line with the department s people strategy.
    • Coordinate with the stakeholders for facility and infrastructure enhancements.
    • Compliance to regulatory requirements on a facility point of view.
    • Ensure the validation batches surveillance in plant, Validation/Qualification related decisions and monitoring.
    • Ensuring the review and finalization of the investigation reports.
    • Ensuring the finalization of CAPAs in co-ordination with DGM / AGM / Sr. Manager / Manager- Production.
    • Ensuring the Process Safety Management (PSM) in manufacturing facility with related Process Safety Information (PSI) for all process operations
    • Preparing implementation plan for Management of Change (MOC) in manufacturing by using Pre Start-up Safety Review (PSSR).
    • Communication with clients.
    • Develop strategy to increase capacity utilization.
    • Develop, implement and track a department wide people strategy to include.
    1. Delivery on KPIs relating to hiring, & attrition.
    2. Talent pipeline for leadership positions and succession planning for critical positions.
    3. Improved Training & Development programs.
    • Ensure Employee engagement set targets and implement an effective improvement plan.
    Educational Qualification : MSc / B Tech / M Tech Experience: 15 - 18 years Technical/Functional Skills:
    • Handling hazardous chemicals like NBL, DIBAL-H and corrosive reagents.
    • Handling of API equipments like, Reactor, Centrifuge, Vacuum tray drier and Hydrogentaor.
    • Having knowledge about handling of regulatory audits and customer audits.
    • Drive the importance of Data integrity and compliance and track individual functional performance.
    • Develop productivity metrics, track and monitor teams performance.
    • Establish a continual improvement environment.
    • Establish internal SLAs to increase coordination between stakeholders.
    • Customer retention and addition of business volume from existing clients through scientific excellence and relationship building
