Job Description

As a UX Designer at Comcast, you will be responsible for researching customer usability experience of digital media, reviewing web design, and creating simple demos of new tools. You will work independently with minimal guidance, bringing in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in your discipline.**Core Responsibilities:**- Coordinate and contribute to the experience design for external digital communications and Web sites, including content development, user research, user-centered design processes, project leadership, and user experience prototyping and development.- Assist with various web and new media projects, collaborate in special projects for the company, and address additional needs for public web and new media communication.- Oversee efforts to expand and enhance the digital delivery channels, improving user experience for accessing current and future publications, outreach, research, data, special projects, speeches, education materials, and multi-media content.- Assess product positioning within the online organizations sites, products, and services, and develop interaction and functional specifications.- Review competing products, recommend design solutions, and develop new research for leading-edge design solutions.You will be expected to exercise independent judgment and discretion, maintain regular attendance, and be able to work nights and weekends as necessary. Additionally, you will have other duties and responsibilities as assigned.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors Degree- Relevant Work Experience: 5-7 YearsIn this role, you are expected to understand the Operating Principles, prioritize customer experience, stay informed about Comcasts technology and products, collaborate effectively as a team, and contribute to the Net Promoter System.Please note that while possessing a Bachelors Degree is preferred, Comcast also considers applicants with a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
