Job Description

    Position Title: Senior Officer - PD Department: PD Work Location: Bahadurgarh Grade: O2 Travel Required: NA Reporting to: Administrative: Sr. Manager - PD Reported by: NA Functional: Sr. Manager - PD Minimum Job Requirements Educational Qualification: B.SC/MSC in Footwear Technology with 1st Division Experience: 10 to 15 year of exp. in a Footwear Company Any additional requirement: Experience with SAP Hana is preferred with MS Office and other relevant software Purpose of the Position (Job Summary) The incumbent must have experience in creation of new products to cater for existing market trends in footwear. Key Roles and Responsibilities Financial
    • To assist in conducting feasibility study for new product.
    • To assist in preparation of process flow chart including process FMEA preparation.

    • To coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
    Internal Business Process
    • Manage and supervise the day-to-day activities of the sample room, including coordinating with the design team, sourcing materials, and managing the sample production process.
    • Ensure that all sample requests are met in a timely manner and samples are of the highest quality.
    • Oversee the process of creating new product samples and ensure that they meet design specifications and production standards.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary materials for sample production.
    • Coordinate with the production team to ensure that all samples are produced in accordance with production timelines and quality standards.
    • Develop and implement processes to optimize sample room efficiency and minimize waste.
    • Manage and maintain an inventory of materials, tools, and equipment required for sample production.
    • Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
    • Monitor and report on sample production metrics, including delivery times, sample quality, and cost.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in sample room management, preferably in the footwear or accessory industry.
