• Performing Application Controls Reviews, Vendor reviews, Event Monitoring, Session Monitoring and other Security reviews to accomplish insider threat management mission/objectives.
• Assessing Risk and suggesting effective controls to protect Verizon Initiatives/projects (e.g. new infrastructure set-up, remote access for vendor partners etc.,)
• Drawing up test procedures for IT controls to assess its effectiveness.
• Identifying ways of prevention of issues rather than reactive approach and suggesting the same to stakeholders.
• Delivering key projects initiated within the Security operations.
• Supporting awareness program regarding security measures and also cover the dos and donts as per Verizon security policies and other industry best practices.
• Participating, contributing and taking ownership in team meetings and process enhancements.
• Ensuring to meet the GCSO mission objectives in terms of goals, KPIs, expectations, etc as set by the Management.
• Supporting the team/process on any additional requirements which might arise depending on business needs/management requisites.
• Ensuring all deliverables such as reports, emails, and work papers for precision, quality and professionalism.
Where youll be working.In this hybrid role, youll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we re looking for.You ll need to have:
• Bachelor s degree or one or more years of work experience.
• Experience in Information Security.
• Knowledge in Third Party Risk Management.
• ITGC controls experience.
• Experience collaborating with functions and supporting teams.
• Experience working towards ensuring the required processes are in place for Risk and compliance management.
• Experience in network with key stakeholders.
• Experience with ensuring project hurdles are highlighted at the right time.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Security certifications like ISO27001, CompTIA Security +, CCNA or any platform certifications.
• Ability achieving quantifiable and measurable results despite obstacles, problems, risks, distractions or pressures.
• Experience in seeking out opportunities for continuous learning in order to expand one s role.
• Ability to independently manage assigned objectives.
