This role will be responsible to perform Root Cause Analysis on the current issues within the process across both Pre and Post settlements. Also, look at thematic issues and work with relevant teams across front to back to fix the issues. The individual will be responsible to create MI and dashboard covering the issues, RCA and solutions to all the identified issues within Rates, Credit & Equities Derivative.What will you be doing He/She should be an expert in the Derivative Rates, Credit & Equities Settlements and understands the front to back flow within the process Role should act as swat improvement team to focus on delivery of efficiency targets, increase settlement rate and improvement on control and supervision Responsible for identifying the issues which are resulting in high number of breaks across Pre and Post Settlements Once identified, need to work with various team (PCG, MO, TCU, Sales, Trading) to understand the Root cause Engage with relevant IT teams where the issue exists and raise JIRAs to address the issues Partner with Ops to perform the impact assessment which will help in building strong business case for RCA Work as Task force to capture the issues and create a dash board which can be published across Business Managers, Product Leads and Operations Head on all the findings and progress Ensuring all applicable governance, compliance, risk policies and procedures are adhered to Oversight of UAT to ensure that quality testing is completed and all issues for the team are resolved First level management escalation point for all high priority issues Key representative from the department to engage in strategic initiatives discussions with colleagues globally and communicate the expected requirements and impact for the teamTeams Main Duties Pre-confirm Derivatives settlements with internal and external counterparties Source and request for SSI setup / amend of clients Perform matching of statements against ledgers Investigate Nostro breaks where ledgers/statements are unmatched Responsible for the effective management and resolution of discrepancies of payments/receipts with clients. Investigate and resolve all differences in a timely manner with clients. Liaise with the Desk, Sales team, Trade Support, Confirmations and other departments to resolve client queries. Manage and effectively resolve all incoming queries from clients within a pre-agreed time-frame.
