    Job Description APAC Job Title:Vice President 2 - IRPDate:23/10/2020Department:IFSOLocation:Chennai / MumbaiBusiness Line / Function:IRPReports to: (Direct) BU Head GSO OperationsGrade: (if applicable)Senior Level (Functional) Number of Direct Reports:4 - 6Directorship / Registration:Position PurposeInvestment Reporting and Performance (IRP) team is a department of BNP Paribas Securities Services providing performances and reporting services to Asset Managers and Institutional clients. Services provided by IRP include state of the art performances and risks calculations delivered on line or through wide range of reports (accounting packs, Factsheets, Investment reviews) or data feeds.This is a very senior high profile position, which will involve working as the Head of IRP Operations. The candidate for this position will be responsible for in GSO Chennai and Mumbai. Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities
    • He / She will be expected to oversight the India IRP Operations, Business Change Management & Business Implementations teams of over 150 - 160 FTEs.
    • The Candidate will be expected to work closely with Global COO of IRP and location heads across Securities Services location/s to support ops transformation and business growth
    • Demonstration of commitment to continuous process improvement is required.
    • The Candidate will report to the GSO Business Unit Head and VPs & AVPs would be reporting into this position.
    • The position interfaces with other Senior Managers, Business Analysts, Business Managers, Relationship Managers, Clients and other Securities Services Offices in Europe and APAC.
    • Effective and Strong Communication Skill required for this leadership role
    • Candidate should preferably have exposure to client presentation for new business bid
    Contributing Responsibilities Direct involvement in integrating new business & actives that will be transferred from other BP2S locations/Chennai to Mumbai in the coming months and years.Grow the GSO India IRP team according to plans Develop strong working relationships with a network of counterparts in other Securities Services Locations and senior Management.Ensure high level of communication network is established with all the departments within the business group to promote team stability with enhancement of expertiseEnsure that, client issues/concerns are addressed and resolved within the agreed timelines.Ensure high level of service has been delivered to the Clients of BNP Paribas Group.Defining the Key Performance Indicators for the process and achieving the same on a regular basis.Manage and reduce operational risk, error costs must not exceed 1% of NBIContinue to develop a strong layer of Middle management and succession planning to develop GSO India as SME centre.Manage staff to take corrective measures/actions.About 10+ years of Audit, Control, Risk or similar experience, in banking industry preferred Knowledge of specific BNP Paribas/Securities Services Control processes and tools Continue to ensure sufficient Risk & Control process are in place Technical & Behavioral Competencies
    • Overall 15 years plus experience with at least 10 years+ in IRP Domain
    • Big number hiring experience with rich people management experience for big size diversified team
    • End to End exposure in Investment Reporting and Performance with knowledge of Mutual Fund, Pension Fund
    • Basic knowledge of upstream teams like Middle office, Pricing & Corporate Action etc.
    • Must have handled Business Continuity Exercises and Dual office set up knowledge
    • Internal and External Audit Management
    • Re-engineering of Legacy Processes
    • Adequate understanding of IRP System Data Flow
    • Be able to adapt to markets and clients evolution.
    • The role requires very strong Organizational and People Management skills
    • Solid technical understanding of Investment Analytics function is expected.
