Job Description

Consolidate MI

  • Development lead of a standard and central utility that provide FCC MI from a single source, supported by standard definitions and business logic set by Process and Risk Owners.
  • Architecture lead for the FCC MI tool(s) that support creation and ongoing delivery of MI (MSTR).
  • Supervise the timely delivery of the MI Book of Work as requested by respective stakeholders (e.g. reports, analytics, tolerance metrics) under the FCC MI 5D development process. Ensure the effective delivery of MI and promote best practice across the function.
  • Deliver timely responses to internal and external requests (Assurance, GIA, regulators) that are dependent on MI and Data; as well as delivering resolution of findings where appropriate.
  • Be a key stakeholder in the FCC data consumption and analytics strategy, including architecture design and tools.
  • Ensure delivery of consolidated MI across the FCC process landscape, amongst others: Anti-Bribery and Corruption, ABC Cost Model, FCC Controls Operational Excellence Triangle, FCC Segment MI, FCC Product MI, FCSU/SDM dashboard, Regional/country Dashboards, Fraud, volume metrics.
FCC Controls Performance Management
  • Implement the BAU process for the FCC Controls activity-based costing (ABC) model to recharge all costs associated with all FCC Surveillance processes to respective Client and Product businesses (estimated USD 170 mio for 2019).
  • Lead the implementation of KPIs and measurements to track effectiveness and efficiency of the end to end surveillance processes.
  • Take a lead role in ensuring that key performance management metrics for FCC Controls are implemented, amongst others: the FCC Surveillance Operational Excellence triangle, throughput, capacity, Activity Based Costing, FCC Segment, FCC Product, CAD projections, CAD (Case assessment duratoin) reporting, volumes evolution.
  • Manage the delivery of the key FCC Risk Tolerance Metrics for CFCRC, PGC Dashboard, ERMF, FCC OR Reporting, CRA and GRA.
People and Talent
  • Provide leadership, management and coaching to direct reports to ensure they are highly engaged and performing to their potential.

  • Ensure staff in FCC Consolidated MI have clearly articulated and well understood roles and responsibilities through meaningful and accurate job descriptions.
Governance
  • Attend relevant leadership meetings.
  • Prepare and cascade lessons learned from audit findings, FCC assurance activities and specific investigations.
  • Propose control improvements, enhancements and simplifications where appropriate.
  • Collate, analyse and interpret data in reports to senior management and relevant governance/risk committees.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and metrics that allow FCC to dynamically monitor financial crime risk and operational performance for key FCC processes.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 10 years of experience in policy / governance, target operating models, process design, continuous process improvement, performance management (KPIs, management information) and data quality remediation in complex global bank (and outsourced) environments.
  • 5 years of project or operational experience in FCC in the following areas:
    • Sanctions and screening (name and transaction) surveillance skills.
    • AML and terrorist financing surveillance skills in relation the respective country jurisdiction, and client types.
    • Banking: knowledge in terms of customers, products and transactions
    • Banking operations experience (Client Due Diligence, payments, trade, markets or other) and service oriented attitude.
