vice president of technology in chennaiProfile of Ideal Candidate. They are probably coming from a largerorganization (>5000 employees) and would be a first time VP. They may have been on a Divisional or business unitleadership team prior to Frost or a #2 to a CIO at a larger enterprise. She/he is more operational, and executionfocused to install the governance needed and ensure accountability of timelines and budget. They may need to consultwith outside advisors/vendors to understand cutting edge technology for Frosts Transformation B plan. This person would be less of an evangelist, and more of a field generalleading the technology changes. They would have excellent team leadership skills. They need to be strategic ingetting the right sequence of technology upgrades and right top-grading of the technology team. They have experiencedoing on-premise to cloud transformations and folding acquisitions and teams into a company.Location: Chennai VP, Information Technology Reports Primarily to: Chief Financial Officer Department: Information TechnologyThe Vice-President, Information Technology will own the IT Strategy, establishIT Governance, and lead the global technology teams of the organization,comprised of the Americas, MESA, UK, & APAC regions focusing on architecture,service delivery, network operations, systems administration, databaseenvironments, endpoint management, cloud and UCaaS. This hands-on position will be required to develop and lead those teams, maketechnical decisions, and work closely with cross-functional business areas.Act as the primary technology relationship manager for the organization andproactively manage user requirements and expectations via regularcommunications. This role requires a dynamic and progressive thinker who willdevelop, lead and evolve our hybrid IT environment of the future.Responsibilities:1. Establish IT Governance at the Organization including developingdashboards, KPIs, and regular reporting to executive management. Work withinan Agile or Waterfall project management methodology to plan and deliverresults and improvements throughout all aspects of IT assets. 2. Plan, design, build, implement, deliver, and support a diverse set ofinfrastructure technologies focused on services that will enable the companyto run, grow and transform. 3. Design and build models for a world-class IT operations organizationleading with a continuous improvement mindset; balancing among efficiency,streamlining functions and ensuring long term sustainability. 4. Collaborates with the IT leadership team to lead the technology strategyand execution to continuously improve the Client, Customer, and User ITexperience as well as maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. 5. Responsible for managing the IT budget which includes: planning,forecasting, and analysis. Manage resources and costs appropriately inalignment with department and business goals. 6. Oversee and manage the vendor relationships, ensuring satisfactory servicelevels and support.7. Consult with leadership on all projects to determine goals, time frame,funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and resource allocation. 8. Manage IT projects through the complete project life cycle. Developproject plans, specify goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risks,contingency plans and allocation of available resources. Ensure that projectgoal are accomplished as per the schedule and in line with businessobjectives. 9. Collaborates with the Information Security and Legal teams to facilitateongoing IT compliance; supports information security initiatives andsolutions. Lead security/compliance efforts from planning to implementationand ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements (eg. GDPR,CCPA, , PCI) where appropriate. 10. Influence company-wide policy and strategy related to IT, with deepinvolvement in new services to ensure operational excellence. 11. Work with the Program Management to provide technical and programoversight on all IT and Operations efforts. 12. Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, a related disciplineor equivalent experience. 10+ years of progressive IT management experience in an enterpriseenvironment. Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience supporting IT functions.DESIRABLE: One or more certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer(MSCE), ITIL Service Manager Certification, COBIT, PMI.
