As head of Operations hewill be responsible for meeting customer deliverables in terms of quality and timelines. He should be able to define and give direction for improving workflows in the STM publishing industry which is undergoing massive transformation in recent times besides optimizing in- house production systems for improved productivity.Roles and responsibilitiesAs Operations head, responsible for meeting customer deliverables in terms of quality and timelinesHelp define and thereafter execute a clear five year road map, for process and workflow improvement with clear milestones, and key deliverables.Work closely with the IT development teams to identify and develop tools for productivity improvementWork closely with the sales teams for RFPs and customer interactionsRequired Qualification: Very strong experience in the STM publishing industry with proven achievements in the previous organizations Exceptional project management, analytical, organizational, technical and leadership skills. Focusses on productivity improvements Excellent English written and oral communications Leads implementation of solutions that will improve the current product performance, quality, processes and standards. Mentors and guides technical team members Focused on team success. Works well in a team environment. Assists team members in all areas Strong analytical and problem- solving skills Desirable Should have actively worked in a customer facing role. Should be very familiar with ISO standards including security standards Should have worked in a business development role comprising of RFP submission, pricing, cost margins, etc As the administrative head of the Chennai office should have worked as an admn.
