Job Description

FP&A/Business Performance Functional Expert

  • Provide functional/process expertise on performance management / FP&A related changes
  • Responsible to ensure that the right business performance outcomes are being delivered through each change/initiative
  • Ability to challenge existing processes as part of embedding new changes
  • Should be able to drive and articulate business performance impact across each change/initiative
  • Provide thought leadership and execution of process change and building new process capabilities.
  • Identification and implementation of re-engineering opportunities, process standardisation initiatives and investigation and resolution of issues across processes
  • Document standard procedures and guidelines for processes such as restatements, restructuring, etc
  • Embed new processes across all countries through the influence of the GPO of P2P
Change Lead
  • Lead and manage delivery of all P2P related changes
  • Ability to present an executive update on status and progress across all initiatives
  • Work closely with the P2P leadership team to embed change initiatives into operations and ensure proactive engagement as part of plan
  • Own frequent communication to P2P Leadership Team and Staff on progress, updates to all initiatives
  • Can deal with a dynamic environment and is able to quickly re-calibrate expectations and milestones to initiatives based on external and internal influences
  • Work with practitioners, delivery owners and BaU teams for periodic updates, progress and risks
Risk Management
  • Should be responsible to frequently review and identify risks as appropriate and provide timely escalations
  • Should endure delivery of adequate documentation and artefacts that are audit compliant for all such initiatives
Project Management
  • Responsible for ensuring detailed plans, milestones and risks are documented for our core strategic change initiatives.
  • These plans should ensure that each initiative deals with all areas of change impact for P2P
  • Work with other change / project managers to understand linkages to core milestones and involvement of P2P SME s
Service Delivery Governance
  • Provide cover for all central governance items for P2P covering process, people and service delivery
  • Should have a clear understanding of linkages to central governance requirements

  • A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team
  • Has extensive experience in FP&A related initiatives, change or performance reporting
  • Experience of being a senior manager dealing with leadership and C suite executives.
  • A Strong FP&A background with added Analytical and Strategic mindset
  • Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process
  • Have worked as a project manager in large finance change/transformation programs
  • Should be able to lead executive messaging to senior leadership
  • Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to culturally orient in diverse & international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations.
Qualifications/Skills
  • Post Graduate, Chartered Accountant or MBA with 15+ years of relevant Project Management experience/ communications in Finance Change/Transformation programs
  • Strong oral and written communication. Should be able to articulate complex messages in a simple and lucid manner.
  • Should have very good PowerPoint experience this needs to be across C-Suite, Senior Leadership level presentations
  • Solid people and project management skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability to influence others in decision making.
  • Relationship and stakeholder management skills is important.
