Job Description

    Job Title:VMware Tanzu Kubernetes SpecialistExperience Required:8 -12 YearsCompensation:Up to 26 LPA (Based on experience and expertise)Work Locations:Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi NCRJob Summary:We are seeking a seasoned VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Specialist with 812 years of experience in managing modern containerized environments using VMwares Tanzu suite and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, administration, automation, and scaling of Tanzu Kubernetes clusters across hybrid or multi-cloud infrastructures. Proficiency with vSphere with Tanzu, Tanzu Mission Control (TMC), TKG, Flux, and cloud security tools like Wiz is essential.Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, deploy, and manage Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) clusters using vSphere with Tanzu
    • Manage Kubernetes lifecycle via Tanzu Mission Control (TMC) including policy enforcement and access controls
    • Automate GitOps-based CI/CD workflows using Flux
    • Ensure secure deployment and runtime configurations leveraging Wiz or other cloud security platforms
    • Monitor and optimize performance of Tanzu Kubernetes clusters and supporting infrastructure
    • Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and application teams to onboard workloads securely and efficiently
    • Apply best practices in container orchestration, scalability, and high availability
    • Troubleshoot complex issues in Kubernetes, networking, storage, and container runtimes
    • Maintain detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and incident logs
    • Stay updated on VMware Tanzu roadmap and integrate emerging features as needed
    Required Skills and Experience:
    • 812 years of overall IT experience with 35 years in Kubernetes and VMware Tanzu ecosystem
    • Strong hands-on experience with:
      • vSphere with Tanzu
      • Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)
      • Tanzu Mission Control (TMC)
      • Flux (GitOps)
      • Wiz or similar cloud security platforms
    • Solid understanding of containerization concepts, Kubernetes internals, Helm, and YAML configurations
    • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud networking
    • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills across the Kubernetes stack
    • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerCLI
