Job Description

ORF (Operational Risk Framework) implementation in Finance

  • Drive the implementation of the ORF/EORP in Finance and provide thought leadership.
  • Ensure that the ORF is embedded and used effectively across Finance.
  • Ensure all processes in the Finance Process Universe are identified, owned, recorded, mapped, standardized (with the exception of local requirements), risk assessed (with the identification of critical processes), controlled, monitored and reported.
  • Ensure the monitoring of governance and risk control processes in Finance including various performance matrices as part of ORF.
  • Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the risk framework for Finance.
  • Assess the accuracy of the residual risk rating for critical processes in Finance.
  • Assess the effectiveness and adequacy of Control Sample Testing for critical processes in Finance.
  • Run an effective Risk Acceptance process in Finance and ensure the relevant reporting with GOR is covered.
  • Partner with various Business Unit Heads / Stake holders risk related activities. Engage with senior stake holders for a smooth transition post implementation.
  • Strong knowledge around Process Universe and Taxonomy across Finance to provide comfort to the framework.
  • Work on automation opportunities around risk reporting mechanism.
Monitoring, anticipation, escalation, detection, mitigation and prevention of operational risk and operational losses in Finance
  • Ensure top risks and associated tolerances are current and are regularly reviewed and reported.
  • Monitor operational risk, operational losses, risk events in Finance.
  • Actively work on risk mitigation and root cause analysis where required.
Partnership with other risk management stakeholders
  • Group Operational Risk: Maintain an effective partnership and engagement with Group Operational Risk.
  • Partner with other risk stakeholders including Group Investigations, Compliance, Conduct, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Group Internal Audit etc.
  • Work with global teams to promote the understanding of policy and risk parameters and promote the understanding of ORF.
