This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.Purpose :The role is responsible to maintain and review the business continuity plans and the IT disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact assessments and documentation of continuity and disaster recovery procedures for GBS T&I in-line with the T&I IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) Standards and Processes.Plan, conduct, and debrief regular mock-disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly. Act as a coordinator for continuity efforts after and during a disruption event.Work closely with the IT Service Continuity Management teams and the GBS Business Continuity Management SPOCs to ensure seamless transition of services during any force majeure event.Responsibilities:This position will be responsible to:Assist in the implementation of Business Continuity Plans and Procedures, while primarily managing the IT Disaster Recovery operations for GBS T&I Services across locations in-line with the ITSCM standards and processes.Drive the implementation of BCP as a consistent operating model across all GBS locations. Ensure Prioritization, Preparation and Response is applied to the critical services and operations managed by GBS T&I.Coordinate with the Country Business and Function Heads and DCC/ADCCs to ensure BCP and IT DR is reviewed and tested annually.Ensure reliable processes and systems exist to support effective communications in the event of disaster / crisis across GBS and in-country locations (at building, intra-city and cross-border level)Coordinate with IT Service Continuity Management teams and the GBS BCM representatives to establish effective continuity arrangements for the services supported by GBS T&I.Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity plans and procedures within GBS T&I.Continuously evaluate continuity risks and mitigate and develop risk mitigation within Business Continuity PlansAct as the primary point of communication between IT and Business Continuity Management TeamCo-ordinate the maintenance of ITSCM Plans for GBS T&I to ensure they are ready to use, where and when needed, with other sections and/or departments.Initiate action after disaster or cyber-attacks to highlight risks and gaps for risk mitigationPublish regular reports on the metrics covering compliance to BIA, BCP and exercise schedule to the Management.Ensure actions from the disaster recovery tests and previous learnings are tracked and implemented by the respective action owners.Ensure key staffs in GBS T&I are trained and awareness is percolated all levels within the institution.Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate will be someone who:Possesses excellent communication and engagement skills, and can operate at a variety of levelsProvides strong thought leadership and communication skills to influence global colleagues, stakeholders and staff and highlighting key risks and issues.Leads working groups with stakeholders to effectively manage the technology related risks, assessing impacts of risks and/or issues to critical work-streams.Education:Graduate/Post graduate with 10 to 12 years of experience in implementation and maintenance of Business Continuity standard with prior experience of working in Banking / BFSI domain in a global consulting setup.Specific Job Knowledge and Skills Required:ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Systems Lead Certified and preferred certifications in Business continuity principles from BCI, DRIIKnowledge of Risk Management Frameworks & Business Continuity concepts, IT Infrastructure and architecture & IT application developmentExperience with developing and implementing DR strategy for business applications and IT infrastructure.Understanding of IT systems and architecture models especially from a resiliency perspective.Wide experience across technology including Networks, Datacentres, Telecom, Virtualization, End user services, Storage, Servers, Backup devices, Load balancers, databases, DR solutions etc.Certifications: ITIL V3 Foundations certificated (must)BCM/DR certifications (like CBCP, AMBCI, MBCI, ISO 22301 etc.) will be an advantage.Required Competencies:Prioritization and time management skillsAble to engage in a consultative manner and articulate abstract instructions followed by execution in a tactical wayAbility to interact with individuals on all organizational levels, including building and maintaining relationship with stakeholdersConsistently able to produce high quality deliverables while working under pressure to tight deadlines and ambiguity.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous adaptability is requiredApply now to join the Bank for those with big career ambitions.To view information on our benefits including our flexible working please visit our career pages .,
