Job Description

    The L3 Windows Support Technician is an intermediate level role responsible for Windows Server Administrator including server maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. The overall goal is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and handle operations. Responsibilities:
    • Have a strong sense of Wintel Administration and BAU Support with ability to handle complex incidents and provide resolution.
    • Drive Root Cause (RCA) post restoration of service.
    • Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks
    • Work very closely with technology and stakeholders to ensure that the solutions we have in place are right for the organization
    • Provide technical/strategic direction and act as advisor/coach to lower-level specialist.
    • Have an ability to delegate task and be able to show the control with ownership on duties assigned.
    • Responsible for overall operating system applications
    • Contribute to technical direction and strategic conclusion
    • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
    • Provide support to Risk management team in audit deliverables and process walk throughs.
    • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
    • Appropriately assess risk when business resolution is made, demonstrating consideration for the firms reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
    Qualifications:
    • 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technologies delivery with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement.
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
    • Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams and to meet the deadline.
    • Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective analytical /diagnostic skills
    Education:
    • Bachelor s/University degree or equivalent experience
