RSNIT is looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our website. You will build our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function. Responsibilities Elegantly implement page designs in standards- compliant dynamic XHTML and CSS. Implement functionality in JavaScript/ jQuery, JSP/ Java, Mason/ Perl Collaborate with the design team to define the information architecture, advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usabilityWork closely with back- end developers to find ways to push the limits of existing Web technology in service of creating the best possible user experienceInteraction with UX team and business usersSome maintenance/ updates to existing sitesBasic Qualification Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent.3 years professional experience in software or web development.Computer Science fundamentals in object- oriented design, data structures, and problem solving.Proficiency with Java or an equivalent OO language.Proficiency using modern web development technologies and techniques, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design, web services, etcPreferred Qualification Experience building large- scale web applications5 years professional experience in software or web developmentExperience developing AJAX interfaces with AJAX libraries and frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, JQuery, AngularJS, etc.) Experience with MVC frameworks, Rails or Spring desiredUnderstanding of web services technologies such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSONAbility to work in a fast- paced and agile development environment and to learn new frameworks/ stacksStrong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drivePassion for building a rich and innovative user experience ,
