Job Description

    Job Title: WelderExperience - 3 to 5 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:The Welder will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and fabricating metal structures and components by using welding equipment and techniques. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, ensuring high-quality welds, and following safety standards at all times.Key Responsibilities:
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
    • Weld metal parts using processes such as MIG, TIG, ARC, or Gas welding.
    • Set up and operate welding machines and relevant hand tools.
    • Inspect welds to ensure precision, durability, and adherence to standards.
    • Repair worn or damaged metal components.
    • Measure and cut materials to specifications using power tools and equipment.
    • Maintain welding equipment and ensure routine service and cleanliness.
    • Follow workplace safety protocols and use protective equipment (PPE).
    • Collaborate with fabricators, fitters, and supervisors to complete jobs.
    • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as a MIG Welder.
    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
    • Knowledge of metal types and properties.
    • Familiarity with welding tools, grinders, cutters, and measuring instruments.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
    • Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions.
    • Basic understanding of safety practices.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certification in Welding (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent).
    • Experience in fabrication, or manufacturing industries.
    • Knowledge of cutting, brazing, and soldering.
    Work Environment:
    • May involve standing for long periods, lifting, and working in heat/noise.
